Wednesday Evenings
Wednesday offerings are varied in topic and frequency. At times Dharma Field will offer a weekly study group on Zen texts, and at other times we will have a string of talks by students and teachers. Keep an eye on our calendar for exact details on content and scheduling.

Ongoing Wednesdays: On the Buddha’s Path discussion group
Led by Steve Matuszak
Wednesdays, resumes May 1 and continues ongoing. 7:45pm
One of the most popular books in Buddhism is a collection of Buddha’s teachings titled The Dhammapada. In it, the Buddha uses simple but vivid examples to illustrate living life out of wisdom and compassion. Participants in this weekly discussion group will read The Dhammapada and share their insights or questions about the reading, though just attending and listening to what others are saying is fine, too. While weekly attendance is recommended, the discussion group will be structured so that people can come whenever they’re available. It will be a hybrid presentation—both in person and on Zoom—and is free and open to the public. Our text is a translation that is available online that is both accurate and free. You can find it here. And here is the Zoom link.
